I was skeptical, at first, that anyone could help us with getting Ellisabeth to sleep. We had tried everything and it seemed like she was so scared that we were leaving her. I didn’t know how we could get her to sleep without holding her. It seemed like not only did sleep scare her, but separation anxiety had set in as well. The problem was we had tried everything. There was no consistency in her day regarding sleeps and we would try one thing, that wouldn’t work. We would try another thing…that didn’t work. We were stressed with each other as we debated what should be done and what “method” to use. The internet was our nightmare, as it gave us lot’s of ideas but no discipline. Shan from Jammy Time was the key. She gave us a method that addressed both the fear of sleep but also the separation. She created a situation that would lead to success with Elli and it was simple to follow. The key is that she gave us timelines that held us accountable and provided the discipline needed for us as parents. She also gave us a method that allowed us to see progress and ultimately the ‘light at the tunnel”. We stuck to it, provided comfort to each other when we doubted, and ultimately helped our daughter become comfortable and calm so that she could sleep. The results are great as Ellisabeth sleeps wonderfully and we have time to ourselves. This helps us get chores done, spend time together, or just rest sometimes. We have a happy daughter who is developing fast and we feel like good parent’s again. Thanks Shan.
